This knife is in exceptional condition. A British commando knife in this condition would make an important addition to any collection. This F/S knife measures 11 11/16" overall. The blade itself measures 6 7/8". The guard is marked 'ENGLAND'. The top of the scabbard is also stamped 'ENGLAND'. The handle has a raised number '4' towards the pommel end. CONDITION: This vintage WW2 3rd pattern British commando knife is in near-mint condition. The blade has 100% of its original finish, absolutely no oxidations--it's perfect. The handle and guard are nearly perfect. The pommel has never been messed with. The scabbard is excellent. This scabbard's keeper strap is still there--rarely does a World War 2 F-S sheath still have its elastic keeper strap.
