Description: A superb & heavy piece of American Trench Art from the Great War's Trenches In the shape of a hand-made Shaped & Decorated Flower Vase it was fashioned from a 1917 Artillery 75-mm brass casing commemorating the American involvement in The Great War in 1918 Measuring some 10" high and with a beautifully hammered flower to the front, the base is marked: NYAB (New York Air Brake Company) 75mm DEC 814 L17 so making for a very attractive American souvenir from the US sector of The Great War in 1918.
