Description: WW II US ARMY NEXT OF KIN DOG TAGS T43(One tag says T433 in error.)w/ ORIGINAL CHAINFREE SHIPPING! This is a matching set of WW II US Army dog tags from 1943. They are known as "Next of Kin" tags because they have the name and address of the soldier's next of kin imprinted below his name. The soldier's name is Harold E. Baldridge; his next of kin is May R. Baldridge who lived in Inglewood, Calif. One of the tags has the designation T43 after the soldier's serial number, indicating he received a tetanus shot in 1943. The other tag was mistakenly stamped with an extra number, T433 (see photo). The tags have a notch on one side in order to align the tags in an addressograph imprinting machine. The tags are attached to what seems to be the original chain, which is intact (see photo). They appear to be in good condition.
