Description: 1904 that I would call a GEM PROOF but for whatever reason ANACS calls it only a PF61. I know the photos are poor but please look at the coin. And compare to several 63 and 64 Indian cente proofs listed and two just sold. I have looked at all of them side-by-side with a loupe and I'm sorry but I cannot see any difference at all between the 61 and 63s and 64s. All third party authenticators/graders have said repeatedly that eye appeal does NOT factor into grading. This is a prime example of the fallacy of that position! Look at the strike, the suyrfaces AND the color and vibrance; calling it RED BROWN is accurate, but little else is when I look and compare to the others I have sitting on my desk! We have a great inventory of BU and Proof Indian cents. We have sold a large number since we began listing them in the second half of 2024. This is one more from our 2024 acquisitions AND more just acquired. Please be sure to see both the BU and Proof Indian cents listed now. Another raw gem BU and two slabbed proofs have just sold, more are listed and I still have several yet to list. I've got this coin opening at perhaps $75-$85 what should be a solid selling level. The Buy it Now is also a bargain, but just start the bidding--one of us will be more pleased than the other--if you can purchase it for only $220 (which would certainly disappoint me!) or if smart bidders bid uup that figure heavily. Good luck and thanks for looking.
