Description: Werner Attic Ladder Heavy Duty Strut Kit 36-81 (1 Pair) Werner Attic Ladder Heavy Duty Strut Kit 36-81 (1 Pair) New replacement heavy duty 130 PSI strut kit for Werner aluminum attic ladders. Werner 36-81 gas struts should be used if drywall is installed on the bottom of the attic ladder plywood door. Struts are compressed and strapped by steel bars to 14 inches and expands after installation. DO NOT remove the steel bars prior to installation. If struts are opened/extended before installation, you will not be able to put it back together. Any opened struts cannot be returned or exchanged.
