Walthers HO Trainline 910-19459 Metra #128 City of Evanston F40PH, DCC/Sound NIB

Description: This is a Walthers HO Mainline 910-19459 Metra #128 City of Evanston F40PH. It is new in the box although it was pulled out of the box to check if it works. The model is factory equipped DCC with Soundtraxx sound. The front and rear lights are LED and directional being on or off as appropriate for the direction the locomotive is moving. There are no other operating lights on this model. The locomotive was tested on rolling wheels and operated just fine at very low and high speed, forward and backward. It was also tested on an oval track at different speeds and operates both forward and backward with stalling inconsistently at incredibly low speed at very specific places on the track, motive power sound appears to work and the bell as well as horns sound as appropriate when using the appropriate function key. Railings appear to be fine as do the factory installed vertical hand rails. There are molded drill starter points if you wish to install separately available grab irons. Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers are the installed type of coupler. This item is not considered a toy and is for ages 14 and up. Check out my other eBay auctions for additional items.
