Description: Vintage Handpainted DEKOR ZAGREB Wall Plate, Dubrovnik, Croatia. This vintage enameled metal decorative plate was handmade in Croatia. To me it is a serene building and island scene. There is a glossy finish. I had to shoot the back and front from several angles to remove the sheen. The back is completely black, any blue-ish color is a reflection. The piece has no chips or scratches but some imperfections that are consistent with handmade items. The back shows some bumps in the metal not very noticeable from the front of the piece and the front shows a paint imperfection hardly noticeable when viewing the whole piece. (all shown in pictures) I have read that the 35 Dekor Zagreb was a group of Croatian artisans. I believe the Vinkovic D to be the artist. The plate is about 12" round and about 3/4" high when lying flat on a table. There are two metal loops on the back for hanging the plate on the wall.
