Description: Silea in box salad serving fork and spoon, new in box. This is the silver plated top and tassel pattern, "Cartisane" is the name. From Saks Off 5th, you can see part of the original tag on the back of the box. Cartisane: (A small strip of parchment or vellum covered with thread of silk or gold, or the like, wound closely around it, used in the making of some old varieties of passement, guipure, or their imitations. See passement and guipure.) These have a substantial feel to them, are not light weight. And they are VERY ornate - gorgeous. There are other sets online for sale but none are this sparkling new.
