Description: This bright buttercup yellow mixing bowl dates from the 1930s or 1940s. Unmarked, but likely made by the Garden City Pottery in San Jose, CA, who started selling housewares in colorful glazes after Bauer Pottery became successful in the 1930s. This bowl has a banded rim and six rings close below. Measures 9" diameter and 4.5" tall. Mold number 12 is impressed on bottom. In good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, but some extensive utensil marks inside and at the rim - see photos for details.
