Description: This is a vintage bullet lighter from World War II, featuring a design called "Wings and Prop" and a "King George VI Coin" on the surface. The lighter is made in the United States and has a custom bronze color. The bullet used for the lighter is a .50 caliber. This is a very unique piece of history. Here’s what I understand: It appears to be nickel plated The casing is from the St Louis plant from 1942 The King George coin is from the same era but there is no date. Note the finish Nickel? The pin and spring for the flint is missing. I tried one from a modern zippo but the threads are too small. The length and spring seems to be fine. The bullet is hollow possibly just the jacket with the lead removed Feel free to send any questions on the piece. I cannot find anything like it and any info would be appreciated.
