Description: This is a very nice vintage, green handled kitchen gadget from the 1920's. It is a "Vaughan's Pie Trimmer And Sealer", made in the U.S.A. and patented May 10, 1921. It is designed to roll around the pie plate and it would trim the excess crust and seal the top crust to the bottom crust at the same time. It still works just fine. Pretty simple and ingenious. It measures approx. 6" long.
