Description: Vintage United States Military Academy at West Point Cadet Full Dress Grey Uniform Jacket Coat Tails The USMA Full Dress Grey is one of the most emulated garments in the world due to its classic and stately design featuring the dashing swallow-tailed back. This dress coat was on display in the home of a noted Civil War & World War I historian, author & lecturer. This retired US Army officer also taught history at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The coat came from his house sale when he downsized. Condition: The overall structure of the coat is in solid vintage condition. There is wear from use. The brass buttons show wear/discoloration. ***Please note that the center button on the left sleeve cuff is missing. The button tack is still sewn into the sleeve, however the button top is missing.*** The coat does have discoloration & fading from being on display for so many years.
