Description: Vintage 'TRUE TEMPER' carpenter's hatchet/axe. Under the makers mark it is also stamped 'GENUINE' - this item looks just like an R2S but is not marked as such. The handle looks to have been bobbed off; it measures 13"-7/8" overall. The cross-hatching on the hammer face is clean & deep. The cutting edge is sharp & free of nicks.
