Produced by as their No. 181.The patent was Granted:Aug. 09, 1910.There seems to be two versions of this tool, one with the metal handle at the bottom plate, and one with a wooden handle.The ones with the slide off wood grip seem to be harder to find.The Starrett marking is present but hard to see due to accumulated grime / oxidation over the years.The tool is in used condition.
