Description: This vintage flat iron made by the Singer Sewing Machine Company features a wood handle, removable cord, multiple heat settings and built in stand. Manufactured in the USA during the 1930’s and 40’s. Model Automatic - B. Some rub off on the black wood handle. Ironing surface in very good condition. Cord is worn out and breaking apart on the end that plugs into the iron. This iron weighs 5 pounds. Ironing surface is 7 and 1/8 inches long and measures 4 and 1/2 inches at the widest point. My photos have reflections that are not on the actual iron.
