Description: This vintage item is the handmade/shop made pledge paddle for the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, it measures 4-3/8" X 32-1/2" and is in fairly good condition. All hand painted and varnished, this item most likely dates to the 1930's or a little before. The chipping at the very edge reveals that the painted flag design was originally blue and white and the varnish has yellowed with time.
