Description: Selling a vintage Samsonite Burgundy/Red 3-Piece Luggage Set ~ 2 Hardside Suitcases & 1 Soft Carry-On Bag. The set is in pretty good shape for it's age, it's not pristine but it's pretty clean and has only very minor scuffing, barely noticable. I will attempt to point out the shortcomings... The tote bag has reddish dribblings on the inside of the first flap only which appear to be some sort of melted material, maybe makeup or lipstick, I don't know what it is but you can see this in photos #21 & #22. I really don't know if this stuff could ever come off or not. I tried to scrape it off but only succeeded in chipping off the top piece. The rest of the bag is clean, as you can see, photo #23 shows the main compartment interior. Also, the clip lock on the side of the tote bag appears to be stuck in the locked position. Since I have no keys to any of the pieces in the set, I cannot clip lock the side of the tote bag, not a big deal if you do not need to lock the bag. The interior of the large 22" case is prettty clean. The liner of the small 20" case has some fluid staining and the divider has 2 fairly prominent spot stains. These can all be seen in photos #12, #13 & #14. In closing, I would just like to add that the actual burgundy color of the luggage is best demonstrated in the first and last photos. The rest of the photos were taken with a vivid setting and make the luggage look much to red and bright! I love this set and would use it myself but I have way too many luggage sets as it is.
