Description: For your consideration is this wonderful Vintage Pair of Japanese Banko Ware Intricately Carved Pottery Miniature Vases with their original wooden stands. This matching pair is a unique find, especially with the original wooden stands.The ceramic vases have a wonderful bluish green color with extensive crazing and an amazingly intricate carved village forest design.There is no real damage to these vases, although there are minor chips at the bottom which are indicative of these vases.Each is clearly marked "Made in Japan" The wooden stands are in outstanding condition, also undamaged and lightly stamped "Made in Japan" The vases stand about 2 3/4" tall by themselves and atop their stand are about 3 1/4" tall.Each weigh in at about 2 1/5 ounces.
