Description: In the 1960s the French Garcia Mitchell fishing reel manufacturer marketed this Mitchell skin diver watch along side its famous fishing reels at a discounted price for every reel purchase. This strategy was not very successful and ended in the discontinuation of the watch line. This makes this vintage Mitchell watch a true hidden gem for collectors. With a mechanical manual movement and 17 jewels, this watch is both reliable and stylish. The black dial is complemented by luminous wide hands and indexes, making it easy to read in any lighting condition. It’s a big lume and bright lume. The chromed case and steel back are in good condition for its age, while the brown leather band adds a touch of classic yet sporty look. This versatile watch is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a day out sporting /work or a casual time out. Please note the wear on case on sides as shown in pictures. It is working but timekeeping is not measured. Keep in mind 1 minute difference per day. Totally acceptable for a watch over 60 years old, in my opinion. Power reserve on a full wind was measured to 38-40 hours. The case measures almost 38 mm in diameter excluding the crown, or 40 mm including the crown. Lug tip to lug tip is 45 mm.
