Circa 1965-1975 tin lined copper chafing dish with wooden handle. 13" diameter tray with border and center design of men carrying spears, here and there a creature that looks like a deer but appears to have wings. Same repousse design found on the lid of the 9" diameter chafing dish. This interesting piece was collected circa 1970 by a family who lived in Afghanistan and traveled around the Middle East. There are some dings and uneven spots on the tray, wear to the finish on the wooden handle and the whole piece needs polishing.
