Description: Up for auction is a Hazel Atlas sour cream 16 oz glass tumbler in the “Red Tulip” pattern. Hazel Atlas (began 1902) was formed through the merger of Hazel Glass Company (began1887) and Atlas Glass Company (began 1896), both in Washington, PA. In the1950’s the company began manufacturing these tumblers which were initially sold in grocery stores, filled and sealed with jam or dairy products. The assets of the company were sold in 1964. The tumbler is in great used condition with no chips, cracks, or stains (see pictures). The tumbler is etched with the Hazel Atlas logo, large H over a small A, on the bottom.
