Description: Here is a nice vintage cherry red bakelite flying bird that is perfect for jewelry crafters. It has no makers marks. It measures about 2 1/8 inch across the wingspan, about 1 1/2 inch beak to tail and about 3/8 inch thick. I actually found a large quantity of these bakelite pieces in different shapes and colors. They were in a box all jumbled together so their condition is good but they may or may not have some light surface marks and the metal eye screws have some patina. All were Simichrome tested.
