Vintage CASE XX 1940-1964 63087 Small Stock Knife Deep Red Bovine Bone Handles

Description: This is a vintage Case 63087 Sp Pen “Small Stock Knife” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.The knife is 3-1/4” closed with nickel silver liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.All blades have strong snap.All blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble.The bovine bone handles have great chestnut red color, no cracks or damage.Unused near mint knife - never carried or sharpened. All blades are full with factory finish, factory edges. Blades have some hints of light surface tarnish.Backsprings have light rub marks from handling.Includes a scarce vintage Case "pumpkin" box that originally held six of the 63087 Sp Pen pattern.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
