Description: This is an early hammer forged Carl Schlieper knife made in Solingen Germany. Also known as the Eye Brand. The unusual handle depicts a hunting scene with a hunter and stag in the middle section. A large cat (mountain lion?) with a stag in its' mouth is on the butt of the handle. The handle is made from cast aluminum. The guard in the shape of an open S measures 2.75 ".The knife blade measure 5 inches. Overall length is 8.75 inches total.The snap closure fine leather sheath is in exceptional condition with very little wear. It is capped on the end to prevent the knife from breaking through.
