The cords are all flexible with no fraying. All sockets and flame lights work fine with no issues. These are the much better than later light string versions, as these feature full threaded sockets that allow light bulbs to screw in securely. These are increasingly hard to find and especially in this condition; and especially ones with screw in sockets. There are three strings total with two having 15 light sockets and one having 7 light sockets for a total of 37 lights. All have nice flickering flame light bulbs and I have even added two extra bulbs to cover possible breakage in shipping. Length is estimated at more than 50 feet total and is sufficient for good flickering light coverage on a large indoor tree. All have the solid brass screw in sockets that are far superior to the cheaper ones sold in the 50s and 60s. The bulbs alone might be worth the asking price. The vintage light string cords alone might be worth the asking price, especially the types with the screw in sockets, that are now hard to find and highly collectible; and especially vintage light string cords that have all sockets in working condition.
