Description: Bloomingdale'sLittle Brown Bag Vintage Paper Shopping Bag Up for auction is a vintage Bloomingdale's paper shopping bag, with brown plastic handles at the top for carrying. The iconic "Little Brown Bag" features dark brown print set against a lighter brown background. It measures approximately 10.5 inches tall (not counting the handles), 8.75 inches wide, and 5 inches deep (when opened). The shopping bag was obtained from Bloomingdale's Flagship Department Store, in New York City, in the late 1970's, and was made in the U.S.A., by the Equitable Bag Co., Inc., of New York. The shopping bag is in great, vintage condition, with no writing on it, nor any other damage that I can detect. However, there are a few small tears or chips to the paper along the top edge. In addition, there is a horizontal crease near the bottom of the bag where it has been folded, and the bag will be shipped as folded.
