Description: Hello, thank you for looking. This was Don Bade’s mailbox… so it says. It is in awesome vintage shape. It is fully functional. This is Made in The USA Steel, by the Inland Steel Company of Milwaukee Wisconsin. It’s in such great shape because of the solid material and workmanship. Don Bade’s name was hand painted on both sides. Time has taken its toll and made it look awesome. The box itself was not painted, it’s got its raw factory finish. The box is 19” long, 6.75” wide and 9” tall. Standard size, approved by the Postmaster General. You can find similar aluminum boxes, steel boxes are few and far between. Found in farming communities where kids used to enjoy mailbox bashing too much. This one is a survivor and never saw a baseball bat. Please zoom in on the pictures as they are my best descriptions.
