Description: These are extremely high quality original vintage Cherry Brand Japanese crystal beads. They were made before WW II. They were all entirely hand cut, hand faceted, each bead is unique as they are handmade. They have a very light AB iridescent luster to the entire surface of the bead. This is NOT a heavy AB look, as it is very lightly done. These are super high quality beads that measure 8mm to 9mm in size. This is a great size to work with. In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect. We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
