Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a 1980's / 90's era NOS Belden 8412 model 2KC microphone cable in excellent condition. As most of you know Belden was the top notch premium brand manufacturer of microphone cables back in the day and still continues to be one of the very best. These cables are American made and built to last. This older Belden cable comes in a 21 foot strand. The cable has two conductor wires (black and white) and is cable is shielded. The older Belden cables and almost all mic cable at that time used steel wiring instead of copper so these cables give a unique sound that many musicians and guitar players like. Yes, this can be used as a guitar cable as well if you install male 1/4 inch end connectors. This harder to find NOS cable was never used and just a little dusty from sitting around for the past 40 years. I'll be cleaning the exterior of all cables sold so it will look like new when it arrives to you. All you'll have to do is install the connectors you plan on using. The cable is extremely soft, pliable and just as good as the day it was manufactured. Don't let the pics fool you. It's in excellent shape. If you need me to custom built cable I can do this for you but I'll have to charge for connectors and labor. Just let me know what you need? If you need the premium old school stuff this is ideal. I will be selling mic cables from this very long strand over the next few weeks so it will eventually run out.
