It was been displayed for may years in a few different homes. It comes with the original box, which is 40 years old and is in excellent condition. Also included is the hanging tag with is in very good condition. The bottle and stopper look and fit great and are in excellent condition. These early commemorative bottle boxes are VERY RARE! From the Jack Daniel Distillery Commemorative Bottles Pamphlet: "Mr. Jack had planned to have a special decanter to present to Theodore Roosevelt at the time of his re-election for the presidency, but Teddy withdrew from the election and the decanter idea was scrapped. In 1984, the 80th anniversary of Roosevelt's presidency, this 1.75 liter 'Inaugural Bottle' was commissioned in memory of Mr. Jack's great admiration of our country's 26th president."
