Description: Vintage 1973 Ellery Thorpe artist's doll, 19" tall. Beautiful African American girl, named Ketura, with glass eyes. Signed on the back of her head and a body tag, too. Bisque with cloth body. Pretty cream color dress & bonnet with pale blue ribbons. No shoes. Near mint condition- there is a tiny hole in her dress. Collector owned. Ellery Thorpe was a NIADA member.* I have noticed this artist produced smaller dolls, so this is an unusual large size. Please check my other listings!
