Description: Vintage 1950's Early Japanese Battery Powered Lady Bug Tin Toy w/ Light Up Eyes. One of the earliest battery powered toys of its type from Japan. Made in post-war 1950's Japan by Masudaya Toy Company under their "Modern Toy" imprint. Takes two "D" batteries with a power switch on back. When powered on, the lady bug's eyes light up, it moves around and changes direction when coming in contact with something. Large toy measuring approx 8" long including the spring antenna. Great working condition. Bulbs in eyes replaced with new modern bulbs. Small dent on lady bug's back with some rust spots. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
