Vintage 1940's Tele-Tone, 10" TV in Brown Bakelite Cabinet with No Cracks

Description: Highly desirable, Tele-Tone, 10" TV in brown Bakelite cabinet. This was the smallest of the 1940's Tele-Tone 10" sets. Cosmetics of the Bakelite cabinet are very good overall, has just a few small scratches on the front, sides, top and bottom. There are no cracks anywhere. I gave it a quick clean and hand car-polish, with wax added it should shine up nicely. The knobs are original and in good condition. Notice it still has the original, often missing internal antenna although the control will need repair if wanted. Notice even the original Masonite back is still there. The AC cord is missing, be sure to see all 52 photo below. It's very hard to find these Bakelike cabinet sets in this very good, nearly complete condition. The nice, nearly complete chassis is all-original and has never been restored making it more desirable/valuable to collectors and restorers alike. I see only a few caps were replaced in the 1950's. The only parts missing I see missing are the front and rear plastic boards that enclose the high voltage cage. These can easily be made. Be sure to see all the photos below including close-up shots. I did not test any of tubes but did test the RCA 10BP4A picture tube. Sencore CR70 Test: H-K Shorts - Good, G1 Shorts Good, Cutoff - Good, Emission Good, Life Test - Good. There are no scratches on the face. The Dag is coming loose/off the exterior of the tube and will need to be resprayed. I am selling this TV and all its parts as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns for any reason. This 70+ year old TV must be looked over, safety checked and repaired/restored by a qualified technician before use. TV cabinet measures 12 1/2” tall, 20” wide, 19 1/4” deep and weighs 56 lb. The picture tube will be packed in a separate box as when new. Box for TV cabinet with chassis bolted in place will measure 19” tall, 25” wide, 26” deep and weigh 52 lb. Picture tube measures 10" in diameter, 17 1/2" tall and weighs 12 lb. Package will measure 14" x 14" x 25" tall and weigh 16 lb. Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes will cost $45 and FedEx Ground shipping (cheapest/ best handling ground service) will cost $190.00.
