All items guaranteed to be vintage and original. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Vintage 8x10 inch photo of the Van Cortland Broncos, a NYC Senior Amateur team. The coach and another fellow appear to be wearing jerseys with "SLADERS WESTCHESTER," printed across the front. Hand written at the bottom of the photo is, "Charter Member - Metropolitan Amateur Hockey League. Winner of the Lester Patrick Trophy 1935 - 1936." Originally, the Lester Patrick Trophy was presented to the winner of the Metropolitan Amateur Hockey League post-season playoffs, a two round championship. The trophy was presented to the league by Lester Patrick, coach of the New York Rangers. Photo is stamped on the back, "H. W. Kartluke, 8 Lyon Pl., White Plains, N. Y." CONDITION: This photo has three punch holes and reinforcers across the top. It was obviously stored in a three ring binder for a while. Otherwise very clean, no creases, rips, stains, or other damage. Displays nicely.
