Description: This is a pair of Vietnam era NWT USGI 1967 combat boots size 11XW, feature the OD canvas cotton uppers and leather bottoms with rear small stitches. Boots are made by Ro-Search, come with mesh insoles and have Vibram soles, these were made from 1963-1967 before were replaced by Panama soles. Drain holes were put in the in-step to let water run through the boot so the soldiers feet would be protected from mildew and trench foot. Also spike protective plate in the sole to keep out the dangerous poisonous spikes in booby traps in the Vietnam jungle.Boots have very minor scuffs from storage, they would disappear when washed and polished.Government dead stock item, this may be your last chance to find one in unissued condition anywhere.
