Description: Rare Victorian glass shaker Coral/Peachblow by Hobbs, Brockunier & Company of Wheeling/West Virginia. Cherry red in the upper part to a yellow gold at the base; mold blown , circa 1886 with the original 2 parts metal lid. This glass shaker contains two layers, the inside is opal glass and it is shiny on the outside. The red colored shading is obtained by use of a heat sensitive glass that changes color when reheated. This is the smallest out of the two sizes they came in. The glass shaker is in excellent vintage condition without any chips cracks or scratches.The 2 parts lid is in excellent condition as well and it screws/unscrews very smoothly..Please check all the photos for complete details.It stands 2 5/8" tall and 2" wide.All dimensions are approximate.
