ONCE FAULT CODE IS BYPASSED UNIT SHOULDFUNCTION AS NORMAL AGAIN ALLOWING YOU TO QUICKLY DIAGNOSE A FAULTY VANE SENSOR. ONCE THE VANE SENSOR IS FOUND AT FAULT IT IS RECOMMENDEDTO INSTALL A NEW VANE SENSOR. THE PURPOSE OF A VANE SENSOR IS A SAFETY FEATURE THAT WILL CATCH A STUCK OPEN THROTTLE AND PUT THE UNITIN TO LIMP MODE. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO RUN THE UNIT WITHOUT A VANE SENSOR.
