The Benewah was a Self-Propelled Barracks ship that was specially modified for use in the Mekong Delta of South Vietnam. She was a Brigade Command Ship and served as the Flagship for River Assault Flotilla One. You'll see scenes of everyday life on the ship, Brown Water Navy craft on the river, shots of PBRs and their crews, an airstrike on a target in nearby defoliated jungle, small Navy craft firing up the shoreline, the Benewah firing her gun, footage of the crew of the USS Colleton (APB-36) cutting a large hole in the side of their ship to change out a generator, and more.
