Offered is a submarine first day cover postmarked from Findlay, Ohio dated Jan 9, 2022. Photo of submarine printed in blue on cachet #1971 by Alvin Eckert USCS #9964. This fine vessel conducted three WW II Pacific patrols and was sunk by enemy destroyers on 16 February 1943.
