Description: Description [Vintage] Fender / 1956 Telecaster Fender / 1956 Telecaster is now in stock! ! Serial number: 11488, manufactured in 1956. Neck Date is XA-6-56, Body Date is 6-56. The body material is ash, and it is an original body with nail holes visible on the side of the front PU and on the horn part on the 1st string side. The pickguard is white 1 ply, but has been replaced. There are some areas where the paint is dripping under the PG. It probably drooped in response to something. There is also a sticker mark on the upper right side of the body when viewed from the front. *It is only visible when exposed to light. The neck is a 1956 XA-6-56 neck, and the nut and frets have been replaced. The string guide is an original wing shape from late 1956, and the pegs are original Kluson Deluxe pegs with a single row stamp. The torque of the pegs is hard at some points (5th string), but there are no operational problems. When replacing the nut and frets, we removed the paint on the back of the neck and fingerboard. The pickup is original, and the rear is also original with staggered pole piece specifications. The POT is also hidden by solder so you can't see it, but I'm sure it's an original (same period) made by Stackpole. One capacitor has been removed and current wiring has been made. In addition, there are saddles, saddle screws, springs, and selector knobs to replace. Although various parts have been touched up, the vintage feel and sound are still intact. The weight is well balanced at 3.62kg, and the playability including the truss rod is also good. The condition is also kept in good condition considering the model year.
