Description: 7 7/8" x 15 3/4" (20cm x 40cm) Turkish hand-painted & handmade fine china/cini (material used) wall tile set/panel. Set is consist of 2 7 7/8"x7 7/8" (20cmx20cm) tiles and they are 1/4" thick. Tiles are decorated with Iznik tulip and floral pattern. Tiles are made from fine china (material used is called china or "cini") and tiles are also handmade. We have same pattern also hand-painted on ceramic tile, but this set is more valuable than other, since including tiles it is fully hand-made and hand-painted. China/cini tiles keep colors more vibrant and original 16th century Iznik tiles started with "cini tiles". Tiles have a glaze on the front section, but due to nature of these tiles, this panel can't be used as floor tiles, outdoors or high moisture areas (such as steam rooms). Also a few spots on this panel has cracks in the white paint (can only be seen when carefully observed (this is also the nature of the china tiles, since they are more sensitive and fragile compared to regular ceramic tiles).
