Instructions dye sublimation heat transfer paper While printing, make sure that image is printed as mirror image. Cut the image borders if required. Place the paper on the hard substrate, such as ceramic, glass, etc, and apply heat press. Sublimation ink is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time.
