Set has been tested. Main engine makes all the sounds but wheels will not work. This reflects the price. All battery compartments have been opened and all are very clean. No corrosion that I can see. Each car connects via wire. Each car does something interactive, when the wheels roll most characters move. Each car is approximately 10 long so its a fairly large train set.
