Description: This auction is for the first three posters pictured in Yiddish, each poster is 28 inches by 21 inches. CONDITION: As you can see, the poster with the blue text has some loss. The paper these posters were issued on IS EXTREMELY THIN AND FRAGILE. Each poster has edge tears, with the blue text poster having the most edge tears. I do not want you to be upset when you get this and see the edge tears, I want you to be aware of this. The posters are as issued. Each poster has some fascinating paper conservator "band-aids" in areas of the reverse, they look like they were placed there at least fifty years ago. These posters were part of a private archive, and each poster has a few inventory letters and numbers in pencil on the bottom right hand corners. These posters are extremely rare. They are so rare that I can't find other examples. I was able to find the standard English versions of the second and third Yiddish posters, which is what the last two photos pictured are. I have rolled the posters in a tube, and they will be mailed within another tube, and then in a box. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TAKING THE POSTERS OUT OF THE TUBE. Have clean, dry hands or wear surgical gloves. To prevent further edge tears, I recommend having the posters linen backed, but I leave that up to you. No shipping to PO Boxes. USA shipping only.
