Description: This listing is for 50 seeds of Linaria triornithophora - which is a very special species because of the resemblance of the flowers to birds.This is otherwise known as three bird Linaria, because the flowers resemble three purple birds similar to parrots with purple tails . Triornithophora translates from Latin as ‘three birds’. These have purple flowers with contrasting yellow throats on the flowers. As with other Linaria species, this grows easily from seed. Gives you something different for your garden. It is a charming small plant which is long lasting and holds its colour well in the heat of summer. It makes an excellent cut flower, and although its an annual, it will self seed for you , if conditions suit it.You have the option of sending via regular air mail or expedited shipping. If you need a tracking number, please choose the expedited shipping option even though it is more expensive, because if you opt for regular mail, I cannot provide tracking. If your address is in South America (with the exception of Brazil) or Central America (including Mexico), Arabian Peninsula (including Israel, Turkey and Cyprus) or Africa you MUST choose expedited shipping. Normal mail often does not seem to get to these destinations from New Zealand. Expedited shipping takes less than 1 week worldwide.
