The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne Leather Easton Press Famous Edition

Description: Up for Buy It Now is a Famous Edition copy of The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne. It is hardback and leather bound with 568 pages from Easton Press. The book is in good preowned condition with normal surface wear from sitting on shelf. The gold edges have a few normal rub marks with dust. There is normal wear to leather at corners. There is an imprint on the white title page for the owner's library (see close-up) and a few wrinkles in pages. I want to point on the fabric lining at the back of the book looks like the borders have faded. It is a solid blue in the front (see picture) while the back is blue toward the center but the edges have a faded purple look (see last pic). I am not sure if this is how it was made or is a flaw. Please see close up pictures for details. The book will ship in a padded envelope. Items are shipped using USPS Priority Mail or USPS Parcel Post.
