Description: The volumes are all clean no underlining, highlighting or writing of any kind, each has an owner stamp on the front title page, as pictured. It is leather bound appears to be very nice binding, according to original company they were hand sewn binding. Each volume also has one ribbon bookmark built in. The printing in volume 1 and 4 is very nice, and is legible, as pictured in one of the pictures (picture #4). The printing in vol 2 is mostly good, though there are times when the page is tilted on the page (pic 5), or a final page is printed with weird margins (pic 6), or the printing is slightly skewed and words are stretched or squished (pic 7). From my reading however, these cosmetic defects do not impair the content of the text, and it is pretty easily readable. These cosmetic defects are only in volume 2, and they came this way from the printer (thus the "like new" rating)
