Description: This is a Hard Cover cook book published by the compiler Mary Davenport Bonner of Tyler, Texas in 1928. The dedication is made to a Anna J.H. Pennybacker, presumably a fellow member of the Club Women. The dust jacket appears to have been added at a later date and contains a quote from the Women's Club president of Chautauqua, New York. In fact, Mrs. P.V. Pennybacker contributes at least one recipe to this collection (one for Angel Charlotte Rusee). Reading through this vintage cook book of 1928, you see find submitted recipes from all 50 states and some from foreign countries.
