Description: Very good hardcover books, two-volume set, in very good original dust jackets, housed in fair original slipcase. Slipcase's top corner joint has come loose, and other physical wear is present along joints, corners, and surfaces. Both books have gift inscription in pen to front endpaper. Sun fading to spines of dust jackets and some fading to cloth spines of books as well. Other wear to jackets includes a few chips at edges and small tears to edges and surfaces; still they are very presentable considering their age. Binding is secure and text pages are unmarked in both volumes. Brown topstains remain vibrant on both text blocks; however, light unintentional stains are present to other edges of text blocks on both books. Please inspect all photos.
