Description: The Very Best of The Beach Boys / Volume 2 - 12" vinyl album TEST PRESSING Capitol Records - BBTV 1867201 Stamped: 23 Jun 1983 Please note these are single sided pressings with a playable side and a blank reverse. The entire album is present here on two discs. This particular record is part of a set of 4 or 5 which would have been used to check the press quality before production. I have listened to the opening tracks only to verify they are what the numbers claim they are and it sounds quite wonderful...however, I offer no opinion as to whether it is of an improved sonic quality when compared to a standard pressing It appears to have been played little. There is a mark across track 3 on side A ('Sloop John B') clearly shown in the pictures, but it is cosmetic only and is not audible during playback. Otherwise, there are some ultra fine marks present most likely from simply being removed from the sleeve and outside of these points a little dust accumulated from the last -almost 30 years- it remains in excellent condition and I would rate it as a VG+ copy...grading critically. Supplied with original paper sleeves as shown in the images. An original album sleeve is also present for protection, but this is for Volume 1 and the track listing does not match. Please see the images as they are of the actual record for sale.
